September SPOTLIGHT: Refreshed Exhibits

We used our closed days last month to refresh and repair our exhibits. One project crossed off the list included a complete rotation of books in Mary & Her Monster.

Our curators do this for preservation purposes and to give you something new to see! 


BAKKENALIA: SCIENCE/FICTION

Thursday, October 5 | 6-9 p.m.

This Thursday is our last Bakkenalia of the year! The evening will feature outdoor stargazing with the Minnesota Astronomical Society, a pop-up bookshop from The Thinking Spot, drink samples from special guests including Number 12 Cider, Wooden Ship Brewing Company, Far North Spirits, Athletic Brewing Co., and more!

Tickets: $30, $25 for members

FALL EDUCATION PROGRAMS

We have a few spots open for Inventors Club starting on Oct. 28 and Young Makers Inventors Club starting Saturday, Oct. 7.

Household and supporting level members receive a 10% discount on education programs.


WELCOME BACK FIELD TRIPS

Field trips kick off this week! We're excited to welcome students and teachers into our spaces for another school year of electrifying experiences. Our field trips and outreach education offer flexible programs to engage students with inquiry-based STEM education.
