Les Docteurs Modernes & Le Baquet de Santé
Paris, 1785

Les docteurs modernes, title page, 1784

Two satirical plays, Modern Doctors and The Health Tub, first presented in Paris in November, 1784, at the Comédie Italienne, in the midst of the controversy stirred up by the publication of the two commission reports. They are attributed to Pierre Yves Barré (1749-1832) and Jean Baptiste Radet (1752-1830), with the help of a third party named Piis on the second piece.
