with a knowlegeable, entertaining tour guide.
Tours can be adjusted to complement your group’s
interests.
On your tour you may:
• Make songs using your heart’s rhythm and more in our latest exhibit,
Electric Heart.
• Feel what it’s like to be a wire by conducting electricity through
your bodies.
• Create and see more than 30,000 volts of electricity travel through air.
• Hear the natural electricity generated by fish and discover how they
use it.
• Explore old medical devices and learn about the medical uses of electricity
and magnetism.
• Experience electrifying fun like Ben Franklin did while play with 200-year-old
static electricity toys.
• Enjoy a multi-media show that brings Frankenstein’s creature to
life.
• Find herbs, shrubs and trees used as medicine in The Bakken Museum’s
outdoor medicinal garden.
• Engage in hands-on experiments.
The Bakken Museum is located at the corner
of West Calhoun Parkway and 36th Street on the west shore of Lake Calhoun.
Stop at Lake Calhoun for a picnic and freetime in the sun before or after
your tour (not included).
