Insulating Stool or
Platform
European, n.d.
In electrical experimentation, sometimes you want your subject or equipment insulated from the ground. In that case you put it on an insulating stool (if it's a person) or platform (if it's equipment). The glass legs keep the electricity from leaking away. This one has a top about ten inches in diameter, a bit small for a person; we have others, larger, in considerable supply. Some were definitely intended for human use. |
